The grapple hoist effectively removes waste material from the pulper junk tower. Constructed to provide superior performance and long service life, the grapple features individually driven tines and a rugged Hoist for optimum adaptation to handling a variety of materials.

Hydrapulpers are designed for specific applications and are based upon furnish, capacity, and operational needs. Our rugged and reliable units are installed in over 8,800 locations across the globe and are proven in a variety of applications and on a wide range of furnishes.

The Hydrapulper DR pulper with the Wash Tower, Trashwell, Grapple Hoist, Vortech® Rotor, and Maximizer® Extraction Plate.

The Ragger is designed to remove trash and bailing wire that results from slushing secondary fiber furnishes. It makes quick work of snagging sheet plastic, rags, wet strength paper, and other light trash normally encountered in waste paper furnish.

• The drive roll electric motor is equipped with a brake, through a reducer, while a pressure regulator adjusts the loading pressure

Used to chop the rag rope into shorter sections for easier disposal, this unit features a double-cylinder guillotine design with replaceable hardened steel knife blade and anvil. The hydraulic system includes a 15 HP motor and pump capable of developing 3,000 PSI pressure.

The rugged heart of HydraFlow Continuous Detrashing System is this durable detrasher, capable of producing a constant output of low-density, light-weight rejects.

It works with the Hydraflow Trash Pump, alongside traditional continuous pulpers, to increase pulp yield, prevent water waste, and protect downstream equipment.

Hydrapurge Detrashers are designed to extract the stock from a pulper to entrap and concentrate contaminants. The stock is passed through the detrashers extraction plate and then sent forward for further processing.

The FiberNET utilizes an enclosed drum-style rotor, which eliminates stringing issues associated with screening stock having high debris levels. The screen cylinder incorporates two cylinder sections which can be optimized separately for open area, slot size and profile angle.

Small slots are used for system efficiency, and fiber savings are realized by reducing long fiber loss. By improving the screening system yield, the FiberNET provides substantial savings to the mill by reducing furnish and landfill costs.

The BoosTEK Performance Pack revolutionizes fiber processing in OCC recycling, stock preparation and pulp mills. Designed for fine screening systems, BoosTEK utilizes system pressure to amplify the breakdown of stock mats that form on, and ultimately block, the screen cylinder.

This proprietary technology improves the performance of the screen resulting in lower energy consumption, increased capacity, improved contaminant collection, and a higher yield of clean fiber.

The latest reverse cleaning technology to remove lightweight debris from all types of pulp and paper stock. Delivering extremely high cleanliness standards for the removal of wax, styrofoam, hot melt glues, latex, grease and other low-density materials.

The Kadant Direct Discharge Disk filter is optimal for stock thickening and water return/ channeling, removing water from pulp slurry.

The disk filter’s main advantage over other dewatering equipment is that it retains most of the fibers. Very clear filtrate means that the water can be returned up-front in the previous steps of the process without carrying fibers that have already gone through the process.

The grapple hoist removes the large heavy contaminants from the Trashwell and Wash Tower.

The cantilevered drum screen provides dependable dewatering of pulper rejects for greater savings of water and disposal cost.

The liquid cyclone cleaner removes high-density rejects seen here, such as staples, and ensures rejects are fiber free.

The Kadant SaveMaxx screw compactor is used for thickening light rejects, such as plastics, in recycled paper production. It dewaters rejects from the detrashing and coarse screen drum screens.

The slotted drum screen is excellent for the removal of styrofoam, one of the most abrasive contaminants found in recycling furnish.

This type of debris consists of sand, grit, and other coarse materials that not only effect sheet quality, but also quickly degrade downstream equipment such as screens or even paper machine components.
