Kadant South America, formally known as CBTI, was acquired by Kadant in April 2013 and merged with Kadant Johnson Latin America which was founded in 2001 in São Paulo, Brazil. Our company, based in Valinhos near the industrial city of Campinas in Brazil, provides services and applications expertise along with the design and manufacturing of products that play an essential role in improving process efficiency, optimizing energy use, and maximizing productivity in resource-intensive sectors. The fiber processing product line offered to the Brazilian pulp and paper market consists of OCC, recycled stock & pulp preparation, chemical pulp, and approach flow systems. We receive support from our sister technology centers in France, the United States, and Sweden.
