Our History

Black Clawson was established in 1873 as a complete papermaking equipment supplier. In 1997, the stock preparation and chemical pulping group was acquired by Kadant and now serves as the North American technology base for all Kadant stock preparation and chemical pulping products.

As part of the Kadant fiber processing group, Kadant Black Clawson works closely with our colleagues to bring our customers the best return on their stock preparation investment.

Our Headquarters

The Kadant Black Clawson headquarters in South Lebanon, Ohio, combines our management and administrative services with a 135,000-square-foot manufacturing facility. Our engineering, application, and customer service teams are onsite as well. All under one roof.
