Detrashing

The rugged heart of HydraFlow Continuous Detrashing System is this durable detrasher, capable of producing a constant output of low-density, light-weight rejects. It works with the Hydraflow Trash Pump, alongside traditional continuous pulpers, to increase pulp yield, prevent water waste, and protect downstream equipment.

The Ragger is designed to remove trash that results from slushing secondary fiber furnishes – snagging sheet plastic, rags, wet strength paper, and other light trash normally encountered in waste paper furnish.

A double cylinder guillotine design with a replaceable hardened steel knife blade and anvil used to chop the rag rope into shorter sections for easier disposal. It is furnished complete with a hydraulic system that includes a 15 HP motor and pump capable of developing 3,000 PSI pressure.

The STR valve is severe-duty stainless steel knife gate valve for use with our Liquid Cyclone Cleaner and in other high and medium density cleaning and detrashing systems such as our Hydraflow. Its rugged construction makes quick work of high concentration contaminants such as glass, sand, staples, nuts, bolts, and other hard debris.
